Common issues Calyx specializes in supporting include: recovering from traumatic or challenging events; managing symptoms of trauma, especially dissociation, anxiety, negative self-image, substance abuse, disordered eating, and unhealthy relationships; major life changes such as leaving or starting new schools and jobs, rites of passage related to aging, and geographic moves; recovering from workplace-related burnout; and navigating grief related to loss of spiritual/religious identity or community.

Calyx specializes in supporting adolescents who are engaging in therapy voluntarily; who are interested in overcoming trauma and challenging events; and have not engaged in risky behaviors such as non-suicidal self-injury (“self-harm”), suicide attempts, nor life-threatening substance abuse for at least one year.

Mental Health Assessment for Adults & Adolescents (Online)

$400 / one 2-hour session

A stand‑alone assessment is a focused, one‑time clinical evaluation designed to help you understand your current needs, strengths, and the types of support that may be most helpful. It includes a structured conversation, relevant screening tools, and a brief written summary you can use for personal clarity, care navigation, or to share with other providers. This service is ideal for people seeking a professional perspective without committing to ongoing therapy, or for those wanting guidance on next steps in their mental health or wellness journey.

LCSWA Supervision

$100 / hour

Julia provides clinical supervisor for Licensed Clinical Social Work Associates working towards full licensure in North Carolina who are interested in ecotherapy.
